Go in to your 'Laws' screen and try to get 'Revoke Title' set to 'Religious' then the only vassals who'll care about you revoking titles are the _other_ Sunni vassals. The mechanic to get out of this should already be in the game, friend. It's probably just bad luck, but this (and every other Paradox game) tends to make me feel that way quite often. In other words, I feel like the game is intentionally piling on. I have spent the last 23 years in game fighting rebellions and appeasing factions due to my ruler's 0 in diplomacy. Just to add one more complaint to the bunch, the game (or so my internal bias tells me), waited until I had easily the worst ruler I have had to do this. How do I find the leader and get rid of them? Will the others convert after I do? Do I have to Assassinate Them? I am quite angry with Paradox for another unbalanced game mechanic, clearly intended to give favor to my failure. In a nutshell, what Iv'e worked quite hard to accomplish, is being undone and it seems there is little I can do about it. Would a Sunni ruler allow his subjects to be Pagan? I do have the option of imprisonment or title revocation, but those options make all of my vassals angry (even the ones who aren't Sunni). Furthermore, I should be given an option to punish a vassal who does not worship the state religion. If moral authority actually has a value in game, these secret societies should not be capable of such quick and concrete conversions.

I would first like to say that this game mechanic is clearly broken. I look into it and am told it is due to a secret society. I then notice my heir is also Sunni and wont convert. I noticed I had 2 kings convert to Sunni, I obviously was unhappy and went to demand that they convert, but it seems they are 'true believers'. Sunni Islam currently has a moral authority of less than 60, while Reformed West African has 100.
